On 1D, N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 supersymmetric SYK-type models. Part II

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
This paper is an extension of our last 1D, N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 supersymmetric SYK paper [1]. In this paper we introduced the complex linear supermultiplet (CLS), which is “usefully inequivalent” to the chiral supermultiplet.

Effective potentials for a class of supersymmetric theories

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1982
Abstract We compute one- and two-loop corrections to the effective potential for a class of models in which supersymmetry is spontaneously broken in an O'Raifeartaigh model.

Higher derivative three-form gauge theories and their supersymmetric extension

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We investigate three-form gauge theories with higher derivative interactions and their supersymmetric extensions in four space-time dimensions. For the bosonic three-form gauge theories, we show that derivatives on the field strength of the 3-form gauge ...

On 1D, N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 supersymmetric SYK-type models. Part I

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
Proposals are made to describe 1D, N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 supersymmetrical systems that ex- tend SYK models by compactifying from 4D, N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 supersymmetric Lagrangians involving chiral, vector, and tensor supermultiplets.

Effects of θ in supersymmetric theories

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1983
Abstract Possible effects of introduction of the “θ-parameter” into supersymmetric theories are investigated on the basis of a 1/ N expansion. It is found that, in a two-dimensional SU( N )-symmetric U(1) gauge theory without chiral symmetry, supersymmetry remains unbroken in the presence of the θ-term although physical quantities depend on θ and ...

Hidden U(N) symmetry behind N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 superamplitudes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
In this paper we develop a Young diagram approach to constructing higher dimensional operators formed from massless superfields and their superderivatives in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 supersymmetry. These operators are in one-to-one correspondence with non-

Nonperturbative effects in a scalar supersymmetric theory

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1983
Abstract We show that the Parisi-Sourlas argument of dimensionality reduction by two in certain supersymmetric theories holds nonperturbatively, and that topological instanton configurations are important in three dimensions.

Wrapping effects in supersymmetric gauge theories [PDF]

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, 2010
AbstractSeveral perturbative computations of finite‐size effects, performed on the gauge side of the AdS/CFT correspondence by means of superspace techniques, are presented. First, wrapping effects are analyzed in the standard 𝒩 = 4 theory, by means of the calculation of the four‐loop anomalous dimension of the Konishi operator.

Yukawa hierarchies in global F-theory models

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We argue that global F-theory compactifications to four dimensions gener- ally exhibit higher rank Yukawa matrices from multiple geometric contributions known as Yukawa points.
