Lectures on supersymmetric gauge theory
Classical and Quantum Gravity, 2002The paper consists of the lecture notes of a series of lectures given by the author on some recent developments in supersymmetric gauge theories. These include electric-magnetic duality, the AdS/CFT correspondence and Seiberg-Witten theory. The main author's conclusions are the following: (1) Seiberg-Witten theory conclusively demonstrates the ...

RenormalizableN = 2 Supersymmetric Gauge Theories
Fortschritte der Physik/Progress of Physics, 1988Renormalizable supersymmetric models of matter multiplets coupled to a Yang Mills multiplet are studied in the conventional N = 2 superspace. It is found that a consistent formulation of the Feynman rules in superspace requires the introduction of a compensator superfield in the matter sector.

Radiative corrections in supersymmetric gauge theories
Physical Review D, 1985The effect of radiative corrections in a general supersymmetric gauge theory is studied when the gauge symmetry is partially broken at the tree level. Certain no-renormalization theorems are proved.

N = 1 Supersymmetric Gauge Theories
2005At least at a non-technical level, all of us have heard that super-symmetry (called susy for short), is a symmetry that mixes bosonic and fermionic degrees of freedom in a dynamical system. We will make this notion more precise during the course of these lectures; however before getting into that let us spend a few minutes to recall the motivation for ...

Phases of Supersymmetric Gauge Theories
2005SUMMARY During the last years remarkable progress was made in deriving exact results for the dynamics of supersymmetric gauge theories. In particular the knowledge of the low energy effective action characterizes unequivocally the phases which appear in these theories.

Hidden symmetries of gauge potentials in supersymmetric gauge theories
Physical Review D, 1985We discuss the transformation theory of spinor gauge potentials in extended supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories. The ''hidden symmetry'' transformations recently shown to carry a representation of an infinitely graded loop algebra are shown to generate symmetries of the spinor gauge potentials.
