Strings, branes, and gravity duals of gauge theories [PDF]
We study the correspondence between certain supersymmetric gauge theories and their dual supergravity descriptions. Using low-energy brane probes of the super-gravity geometries we find moduli spaces of vacua, as expected from considering the dual gauge ...

Exact moduli spaces for N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2, D = 5 freely acting orbifolds
We use freely acting asymmetric orbifolds of type IIB string theory to construct a class of theories in five dimensions with eight supercharges whose moduli spaces for vector multiplets and hypermultiplets can be determined exactly.

Supersymmetric probes of wrapped M5-brane backgrounds [PDF]
In this thesis we consider supersymmetric probes in backgrounds sourced by an M5-brane which is wrapped on holomorphic 2-cycles in C(^2) and C(^3), respectively. For the first case, we use M2-brane probes to compute the BPS spectra of the corresponding N

Self duality in unconventional conformal supersymmetry
Abstract In this work, we study (anti-)self duality conditions in unconventional conformal supersymmetry. We focus on a theory constructed in a Townsend-MacDowell-Mansouri form for an SU(2, 2|N) gauge connection with matter fields in the adjoint representation.
