Supervisory Multi Switching Data Driven Control Theory and Application

open access: yesIEEE Access
Due to the varying circumstances, thus resulting in frequently changed system plant, the controller must also varies with time increases. This paper proposes supervisory multi switching data driven control strategy from both theoretical analysis and ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Probabilistic Supervisory Control of Probabilistic Discrete Event Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This thesis considers probabilistic supervisory control of probabilistic discrete event systems (PDES). PDES are modeled as generators of probabilistic languages.

Nursing Managers’ Coronary Care Unit Management Experience

open access: yesIranian Journal of Nursing and Midwifery Research
Background: The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) requires effective managers to consider- the patient’s acute condition. Studies have indicated that nursing managers of such units face many challenges. The purpose of the study is to explain nursing managers’ CCU

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Novel analysis of Petri-net-based controllers by means of TCT implementation tool of supervisory control theory [PDF]

open access: yesMaejo International Journal of Science and Technology, 2010
The control of discrete event systems (DES) has been widely studied in the past two decades. Finite-state automata (FSA) and Petri nets (PN) are the two principal modelling formalisms for this study.

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...
