Non-sparseMultipleKernelLearningApproachforSupportVectorRegression
:In order to improve the performance of support vector regression machine,a novel algorithm was proposed to solve the support vector regression problem with multiple kernel leaning method (NS-MKR).Lp-norm constraints were imposed on kernel weights with p>

Sparse Incremental Regression Modeling Using Correlation Criterion with Boosting Search
A novel technique is presented to construct sparse generalized Gaussian kernel regression models. The proposed method appends regressors in an incremental modeling by tuning the mean vector and diagonal covariance matrix of individual Gaussian regressor ...

Milled polycrystalline NMC811 cathode (MPC NMC) with smaller secondary particle and higher surface area had 1) greater cathode tortuosity, 2) reduced surface Ni on the cycled MPC cathodes consistent with surface reconstruction, and 3) increased Ni deposition from cathode‐anode crosstalk, manifesting in lower functional capacity and higher impedance ...

This paper presents an agar medium with a phosphorescent grid pattern that measures the stress distribution generated by growing plant roots. Using phosphorescence, the system optically separates the grid pattern from the root and extracts the grid deformation.

This study explores how information processing is distributed between brains and bodies through a codesign approach. Using the “backpropagation through soft body” framework, brain–body coupling agents are developed and analyzed across several tasks in which output is generated through the agents’ physical dynamics.
