Study of Power Frequency Overvoltage Suppression on UHV Transmission Line

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu, 2014
It mainly studied the improvement measures of overvoltage level for UHV transmission line from Jindongnan to Jingmen. It analyzed single-phase grounding load shedding overvoltage and fault-free load shedding overvoltage in the case of the single ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Elliptic Flow and Fixed p_T Suppression in a Final State Interaction Model

open access: yes, 2006
It has been shown that a final state interaction model, used to describe J/psi suppression, can also describe the fixed p_T suppression of the pi^0 (and charged pions) yield at all values of p_T, with a final state interaction cross-section sigma close ...

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

Patterns and Predictors of Tic Suppressibility in Youth With Tic Disorders

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychiatry, 2018
Tic suppression is the primary target of tic disorder treatment, but factors that influence voluntary tic inhibition are not well understood. Several studies using the Tic Suppression Task have demonstrated significant inter-individual variability in tic

Sequential Quarkonium Suppression

open access: yes, 2001
We use recent lattice data on the heavy quark potential in order to determine the dissociation temperatures of different quarkonium states in hot strongly interacting matter.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

MITIGATION OF SELF-INTERFERENCE IN BIDIRECTIONAL FULLDUPLEX MIMO LINK USING MULTI ANTENNA TRANSCEIVER [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science and Technology, 2016
Communication between two multi antenna full duplex transceivers using bidirectional MIMO links faces a major problem of self-interference of signals. Suppression in spatial domain and cancellation in time domain are the two methods that can be adopted ...

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Comparator with noise suppression [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987
An apparatus for generating a single pulse the first time only that a noisy cyclic signal exceeds a reference level during a half-cycle is disclosed. For the positive half of a cycle of the noisy cyclic signal, a comparator and a multivibrator produce a ...
