CREASE-2D Analysis of Small Angle X-ray Scattering Data from Supramolecular Dipeptide Systems [PDF]
In this paper, we extend a recently developed machine-learning (ML) based CREASE-2D method to analyze the entire two-dimensional (2D) scattering pattern obtained from small angle X-ray scattering measurements of supramolecular dipeptide micellar systems.

Colonoscopic continuum robots lack sensing, endangering intestinal tissue. An ideal sensing array is hard to integrate. This work introduces a 3D crosslinked stretchable E‐armor with full‐coverage and multiplexing. It has bimodal sensing, forms a triboelectric synapse, uses CNN‐LSTM, and has a hydrogel and innovative triboelectric materials.

Emergent Locomotion in Self‐Sustained, Mechanically Connected Soft Matter Rings
Thermally fueled, self‐moving twisted rings made from liquid crystal elastomers are investigated. By studying single rings and linked knots, it is shown how autonomous locomotion emerges through coupling between the rings. The movement is programmable via handedness control at connection points, offering insights into collective behavior and ...

Cracked Metal–Phenolic Networks with Durable Confinement Capillarity for Enhanced Solar Desalination
Nature‐inspired cracks are introduced into photothermal metal–phenolic networks (C‐MPNs). These crack patterns can be controlled to optimize water flow, enabling confinement capillarity to enhance the evaporation rate while preventing salt fouling. The cracks also serve as a buffer zone to significantly enhance the stability of the C‐MPNs, overcoming ...
