Ossification of Superior Transverse Scapular Ligament and its Clinical Implications
The superior transverse scapular ligament (STSL) bridges the suprascapular notch, converting it into a suprascapular foramen. The suprascapular nerves and the vessels traverse through the suprascapular foramen of the scapula.

Background The suprascapular notch (SN) represents the point along the route of the suprascapular nerve (SSN) with the greatest potential risk for injury and compression. Thus, factors reducing the area of the notch have been postulated for suprascapular

Arthroscopic Intra-articular Spinoglenoid Cyst Resection Following SLAP Repair
Spinoglenoid cyst (SGC) is a ganglion arising in the spinoglenoid notch and is thought to be related to SLAP lesion. This cyst often compresses the suprascapular nerve in the spinoglenoid notch.

The suprascapular notch: its morphology and distance from the glenoid cavity in a Kenyan population
The morphology of the suprascapular notch has been associated with suprascapular entrapment neuropathy, as well as injury to the suprascapular nerve in arthroscopic shoulder procedures.

A bony bridge within the suprascapular notch. Anatomic study and clinical relevance
Purpose of the present study was to document the incidence, morphology, origin and clinical significance of the existence of a bony bridge within the suprascapular notch, below the level of the superior transverse scapular ligament. The study was carried
