Supraventricular Tachycardia Detection and Classification Model of ECG signal Using Machine Learning [PDF]
Investigation on the electrocardiogram (ECG) signals is an essential way to diagnose heart disease since the ECG process is noninvasive and easy to use. This work presents a supraventricular arrhythmia prediction model consisting of a few stages, including filtering of noise, a unique collection of ECG characteristics, and automated learning ...

Cardioversion of Supraventricular Tachycardias [PDF]
Cardioversion was employed in 33 episodes of supraventricular tachycardia in 25 patients. Of these, 18 were episodes of paroxysmal atrial tachycardia with block and the remainder were atrial, junctional, and undefined supraventricular tachycardias. Cardioversion was successful in restoring sinus rhythm in 23 (70%).

A novel approach for the diagnosis of ventricular tachycardia based on phase space reconstruction of ECG [PDF]
Ventricular arrhythmias comprise a group of disorders which manifest clinically in a variety of ways from ventricular premature beats (VPB) and no sustained ventricular tachycardia (in healthy subjects) to sudden cardiac death due to ventricular tachyarrhythmia in patients with and/or without structural heart disease.

Flutter-Like P Waves in a Case of Atrioventricular Reciprocating Tachycardia
Typical atrial flutter is characterized by its sawtooth flutter wave in leads II, III, aVF, and V1. Atrioventricular reciprocating tachycardia is characterized by its small retrograde P wave after completion of QRS complex, where sawtooth flutter-like P ...

A clinical case of hemangioma of the face and tongue concurrent with severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome complicated by cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disturbances [PDF]
The paper describes a clinical case of a female patient with severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome in the presence of congenital hemangioma of the face, soft palate, and tongue concurrent with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter ...

Machine Learning-based Efficient Ventricular Tachycardia Detection Model of ECG Signal [PDF]
In primary diagnosis and analysis of heart defects, an ECG signal plays a significant role. This paper presents a model for the prediction of ventricular tachycardia arrhythmia using noise filtering, a unique set of ECG features, and a machine learning-based classifier model.

Contemporary Burden and Correlates of Symptomatic Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia
Background Contemporary data about symptomatic paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) epidemiology are limited. We characterized prevalence and correlates of symptomatic PSVT within a large healthcare delivery system and estimated national PSVT ...

A re-entry tachycardia triggered by the spontaneous interruption of an atrial tachycardia. [PDF]
The common atrioventricular nodal re-entry tachycardia is the most common form of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. It starts frequently with a supraventricular ectopic beat that, on finding the fast pathway in refractory period, travels in the ...

Dermatomyositis and supraventricular tachycardia
Dermatomyositis is an idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, often associated with an underlying malignancy. Its prevalence rate is approximately one per 100,000 in the general population, and is even rarer without evidence of a cancer. Dermatomyositis rarely involves myocardial muscle fibers, but has shown to be associated with cardiac arrhythmias. We ...

Supraventricular tachycardia in pregnancy [PDF]
We present four cases of supraventricular tachycardia in pregnancy of varied aetiology. Risk factors for the development of supraventricular tachycardia and options for obstetric anaesthetic management, during pregnancy, labour, and at Caesarean section are discussed. We recommend the use of adenosine as first line therapy.
