Dynamical behaviour of the `beads' along the magnetic field lines near a rotating black hole
The elements of the cold magnetic driven flows behave like beads on the magnetic field line. The inclination of the field lines at the surface of the disc plays a crucial role on the nature of the magnetically driven outflow.

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

NANOSTRUCTURAL PROCESSES OF MELTING, CRYSTALLIZATION AND MODIFYINGS OF METALS
It is shown that melting, crystallization and modifying of metals are difficult nanostructural processes. The nanocrystals and atoms of metals, the centers of crystallization of dendrites, surface-active elements, gases modifying elements, poorly soluble

Thermostable interference oxide coatings for active elements of IR lasers [PDF]
Strong thermostable oxide interference coatings transparent in the visible and IR spectral regions are obtained on the surface of active elements of ZnSe:Cr2+-lasers by the method of photothermal oxidation.

A Cut Discontinuous Galerkin Method for Coupled Bulk-Surface Problems
We develop a cut Discontinuous Galerkin method (cutDGM) for a diffusion-reaction equation in a bulk domain which is coupled to a corresponding equation on the boundary of the bulk domain. The bulk domain is embedded into a structured, unfitted background

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

The roots of coronal structure in the Sun's surface [PDF]
We have compared the structures seen on X-ray images obtained by a flight of the NIXT sounding rocket payload on July 11, 1991 with near-simultaneous photospheric and chromospheric structures and magnetic fields observed at Big Bear.
