Electronic Properties of the Active Sites Present at the (011) Surface of MoO

open access: yesAdsorption Science & Technology, 2007
The DFT method was used to describe the electronic structure of the catalytically interesting (011) surface of molybdenum dioxide, with attention being particularly focused on the properties of the active sites, both molybdenum and oxygen, present at ...

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Role of active nanoliposomes in the surface and bulk mechanical properties of hybrid hydrogels

open access: yesMaterials Today Bio, 2020
Nanoliposomes are widely used as delivery vehicles for active compounds. Nanoliposomes from rapeseed phospholipids were incorporated into interpenetrating polymer network hydrogels of gelatin methacryloyl and alginate.

Ordering Phenomena on Growing Films

open access: yes, 1998
In many growth processes particles are highly mobile in an active layer at the surface, but are relatively immobile once incorporated in the bulk. We study models in which atoms are allowed to interact, equilibrate, and order on the surface, but are ...

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Properties of butadiene-styrene latexes modified by silicon surface-active substances

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2009
The properties of butadiene-styrene latexes, stabylized by the mixes of surface-active substances included silicon SAS, practically unsolved in water, were investigated.

Thermodynamics and interfacial properties for self-assembly behaviour of methyl-imidazolium monomeric surfactants

open access: yesChemical Thermodynamics and Thermal Analysis
A chain of three imidazolium monomeric surfactants have been synthesized and further analysed by 13C NMR, 1H NMR, FTIR and TGA for number & types of protons, types of carbon atoms, purity and the thermal stability. The conductance measurements of all

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
