Surface Roughness of Microfilled Composites
The Journal of the American Dental Association, 1981Average surface roughness values, profile tracings, and surface microstructures of three microfilled composites and a conventional composite were studied with respect to final finishing procedures. Surfaces cured against Mylar matrix strips were the smoothest and were similar for all composites.

Surface Composition as Bridging
Journal of Semantics, 2001The development of explicit theories of dynamic context change has led to a fundamentally new perspective on the interpretation of discourse. In this paper I show that this development also opens up the possibility of approaching subclausal composition along similar lines.

Atmospheric Composition and Surface Exchanges
2004Atmospheric chemistry is a relatively new scientific discipline. Research in this area has intensified dramatically in the last 3–4 decades because of the concerns that growing emissions of pollutants could have severe consequences for humankind. Although the major chemical compounds present in the atmosphere were identified long ago, it is only during

The surface composition of Amalthea
Icarus, 1980It is proposed that charged particles from the Jovian magnetosphere, contaminants such as sulfur from Io, and high-velocity micrometeoritic matter, combine to darken, redden, and alter the surface of Amalthea revealed by Voyager; whose few isolated bright spots have a distinct greenish spectrum.

The Martian Surface Composition
Space Science Reviews, 2001Mars is unique to have undergone all planetary evolutionary steps, without global resets, till its geological death: this is reflected in the variety of its surface features. The determination of Mars surface composition has thus the potential to identify the processes responsible for the entire Mars evolution, from geological timescales to seasonal ...

Broadband (J, H, K and L) and narrowband (1.5- to 3.7-micron) infrared photometry of Pluto has been conducted in order to check previous ambiguous observations of methane frost on the planet's surface. In detail, the match between a laboratory spectrum of methane frost and the observed spectrum of Pluto is not good.
