Surface-Duct Propagation-Loss Measurements [PDF]
The surface duct is the mixed-layer underwater sound channel generally bounded by the ocean surface and the thermocline. In a recent experiment, abundant measurements of surface-duct propagation loss were made concurrently with detailed environmental sampling.

Modeling sound propagation in acoustic waveguides using a hybrid numerical method [PDF]
Sound propagation in an acoustic waveguide is examined using a hybrid numerical technique. Here, the waveguide is assumed to be infinite in length with an arbitrary but uniform cross-section.

Reflection of an acoustic line source by an impedance surface with uniform flow
An exact analytic solution is derived for the 2D acoustic pressure field generated by a time-harmonic line mass source located above an impedance surface with uniform grazing flow. Closed-form asymptotic solutions in the far-field are also provided.

A comparison of impedance boundary conditions for flow acoustics [PDF]
Acoustic liners remain a key technology for reducing community noise from aircraft engines. The choice of optimal impedance relies heavily on the modeling of sound absorption by liners under grazing flows.

Heterogeneity of SOX9 and HNF1β in Pancreatic Ducts Is Dynamic
Summary: Pancreatic duct epithelial cells have been suggested as a source of progenitors for pancreatic growth and regeneration. However, genetic lineage-tracing experiments with pancreatic duct-specific Cre expression have given conflicting results ...

Numerical analysis of viscid compressible ionic flow [PDF]
The aim of the paper is to investigate numerically the effect of a DC positive corona discharge between two parallel wire electrodes of different diameter along an insulating aerofoil surface in low subsonic compressible flow.
