Infra-Red Surface-Plasmon-Resonance technique for biological studies
We report on a Surface-Plasmon-Resonance (SPR) technique based on Fourier -Transform - Infra - Red (FTIR) spectrometer. In contrast to the conventional surface plasmon technique, operating at a fixed wavelength and a variable angle of incidence, our ...

Development of a combined surface plasmon resonance/surface acoustic wave device for the characterization of biomolecules [PDF]
It is known that acoustic sensor devices, if operated in liquid phase, are sensitive not just to the mass of the analyte but also to various other parameters, such as size, shape, charge and elastic constants of the analyte as well as bound and viscously

Extremely short-length surface plasmon resonance sensors [PDF]
The impact of the system design on the control of coupling between planar waveguide modes and surface plasmon polaritons (SPP) is analyzed. We examine how the efficiency of the coupling can be enhanced by an appropriate dimensioning of a multi-layer ...

Plasmon resonance sensitivity in fine metal particle [PDF]
The sensitivity of the wavelength position of surface plasmon resonances in prolate and oblate fine metal particles to the refractive index of an embedding solution, a particle shape, and electron temperature is studied theoretically in the framework of ...

A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Ag Nanotwin-Assisted Grain Growth-Induced by Stress in SiO2/Ag/SiO2 Nanocap Arrays
A trilayer SiO2/Ag/SiO2 nanocap array was prepared on a two-dimensional template. When annealed at different temperatures, the curvature of the SiO2/Ag/SiO2 nanocap arrays increased, which led to Ag nanocap shrinkage.
