The study of solar radiation on surface of Mars
AOPC 2020: Optical Sensing and Imaging Technology, 2020Through the investigation and analysis of the characteristics of Martian atmosphere, the distribution of solar energy outside the Martian atmosphere is calculated. Using the fast calculation algorithm to calculate Mars surface radiation, a fast calculation mode is established, and a visual software interface is written.

Solar Radiation on Inclined Surfaces
Nature, 1965IT is interesting to compare Dr. H. Heywood's proposed presentation of solar radiation data1 with a method developed at this Station2. This method makes the simplifying assumption that the diffuse sky radiation is uniformly distributed, except in the vicinity of the Sun where the radiance is known to be higher.

SOLAR ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION AT THE EARTH'S SURFACE
Photochemistry and Photobiology, 1989AbstractThe biologically effective ultraviolet irradiance at the earth's surface varies with the elevation of the sun, the atmospheric ozone amount, and with the abundance of scatterers and absorbers of natural and anthropogenic origin. Taken alone, the reported decrease in column ozone over the Northern Hemisphere between 1969 and 1986 implies an ...

Solar radiation on inclined surfaces
Solar Energy, 1966Abstract To predict the amount of solar energy falling on inclined absorbing surfaces, such as absorbers for solar hot-water services, several formulas have been published by authors in this field. These are based on measurements of sunshine hours, cloud cover, total solar energy falling on a horizontal surface or both total and diffuse solar energy ...

Extraterrestrial solar radiation on inclined surfaces
Environmental Software, 1986Abstract A set of equations and a FORTRAN program have been developed to calculate extraterrestrial solar radiation on a plane surface of arbitrary inclination and azimuth at any point on the Earth. The model inputs are the day of year, local standard time, longitude, latitude, and azimuth and inclination angles of the inclined plane. The outputs are

Parameterization of topographic effect on surface solar radiation [PDF]
Topographic impact on the surface solar (shortwave (SW)) radiation was investigated using a 40 m high‐resolution digital topographic data model and a radiative transfer model. With applications to the complex terrain of Taiwan, we found that the spatial variation of the surface SW radiation has a strong diurnal cycle.

Hourly solar radiation on inclined surfaces
Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, 2014Abstract The present study investigates the variation of hourly global solar radiation for inclined surfaces. We have measured the data for horizontal surface and different south-facing (γ = 0°) inclined surfaces at Lucknow (Latitude 26.75°, Longitude 80.85°), Uttar Pradesh, India.
