Structure - Property relationship of "gemini" surfactants and synergism with hydrotropes
S.25-33Two series of cationic climeric ("gemini") surfactants are presented with respect to key surfactant properties, such as surface activity and micellization.

Mixed adsorption and surface tension prediction of nonideal ternary surfactant systems [PDF]
To deal with the mixed adsorption of nonideal ternary surfactant systems, the regular solution approximation for nonideal binary surfactant systems is extended and a pseudo-binary system treatment is also proposed.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Cleavable Surfactants: A Comparison between Ester, Amide, and Carbonate as the Weak Bond
Cleavable surfactants, i.e., surfactants in which a weak bond has deliberately been inserted into the molecule, are of interest when remaining surface-active material at a surface can cause problems. Ester and amide bonds are established as week linkages

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

From the literature on the foam stability of various surfactants with C12 alkyl chains but different head groups a clear picture emerges: Foams are more stable when hydrogen bonds can form between the head groups, i. e.
