On the unique constructive solvability of Hammerstein equations
We study the unique constructive solvability of Hammerstein operator equation in Banach spaces using iterative and projection like methods. Some error estimates are also given.

The notions of relaxed submonotone and relaxed monotone mappings in Banach spaces are introduced and many of their properties are investigated. For example, the Clarke subdifferential of a locally Lipschitz function in a separable Banach space is relaxed

Grammatical structures in mathematics: a personal view
Abstract The ability to read, write, and speak mathematics is critical to students becoming comfortable with statistical models and skills. Faster development of those skills may act as encouragement to further engage with the discipline. Vocabulary has been the focus of scholarship in existing literature on the linguistics of mathematics and ...

The surjectivity problem for 2D cellular automata
The surjectivity problem for 2D cellular automata was proved undecidable in 1989 by Jarkko Kari. The proof consists in a reduction of a problem concerning finite tilings into the previous one. This reduction uses a special and very sophisticated tile set.

A System of Generalized Variational-Hemivariational Inequalities with Set-Valued Mappings
By using surjectivity theorem of pseudomonotone and coercive operators rather than the KKM theorem and fixed point theorem used in recent literatures, we obtain some conditions under which a system of generalized variational-hemivariational inequalities ...

Identification of discontinuous parameters in double phase obstacle problems
In this article, we investigate the inverse problem of identification of a discontinuous parameter and a discontinuous boundary datum to an elliptic inclusion problem involving a double phase differential operator, a multivalued convection term (a ...

Injectivity and surjectivity of the Dress map [PDF]
For a nontrivial finite Galois extension $L/k$ (where the characteristic of $k$ is different from 2) with Galois group $G$, we prove that the Dress map $h_{L/k}: A(G) \to GW(k)$ is injective if and only if $L=k(\sqrtα)$ where $α$ is not a sum of squares in $k^\times$.

Edge‐Length Preserving Embeddings of Graphs Between Normed Spaces
ABSTRACT The concept of graph embeddability, initially formalized by Belk and Connelly and later expanded by Sitharam and Willoughby, extends the question of embedding finite metric spaces into a given normed space. A finite simple graph G = ( V , E ) is said to be ( X , Y )‐embeddable if any set of induced edge lengths from an embedding of G into a ...

Surjectivity of isometries between weighted spaces of holomorphic functions
We examine the surjectivity of isometries between weighted spaces of holomorphic functions. We show that for certain classical weights on the open unit disc all isometries of the weighted space of holomorphic functions,Hvo(Δ), are surjective.
