MOVEMENT AND DEFORMATION CONTROL IN SURROUNDING ROCK MASS

News of the Tula state university. Sciences of Earth, 2023
The paper describes implementation of geomechanical monitoring of movements and deformations in rock mass and mine structures in hybrid open pit/underground mining. The case-study of extraction ofAikhal kimberlite pipe reserves under bottom of an open pit ofAL- ROSA allows examining the pitwall rock mass stability control using subsurface check points ...

The virani ophiolite complex and surrounding rocks

Geologische Rundschau, 1979
The Virani ophiolite complex consists of metamophosed ultramafics, mafics, and cherts, and forms an allochthonous sheet that structurally overlies a sequence of metamorphosed flysch-type deposits. The complex and structurally underlying metamorphosed sedimentary rocks have been affected by three phases of folding. The first and second phases of folding

The Application of Support Vector Machine in Surrounding Rock Classification

2011
The surrounding rock stability classification of tunnel is an important basis for the engineering design, construction, risk assessment and to lay down appropriate engineering measures. The present paper gives a brief introduction to the common method of rock classification in today’s and influence factors to the stability of surrounding rock.

Research of Surrounding Rock Classification Correction Method

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015
At present, both at home and abroad of tunnel surrounding rock classification methods and standards are all aimed at tunnel survey and design phase. It is the cause of that surrounding rock classification are very different between design phase and tunnel construction because of the limits of investigation techniques and geological data.

Research to the Influence of Bolt Direction on the Surrounding Rock

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
Bolt design has an important role to give full play to the effect of bolt support and ensure the roadway safety. Based on numerical simulation by ANSYS software, stress - strain is no longer as the analysis object in the study, but creating the paths mapped equivalent plastic strain to observe the changes in the plastic zone.

Identification of Surrounding Rock Parameters Based on MSVR

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014
An inversion method based on multi-output support vector regression (MSVR) is proposed for identifying the mechanical parameters of surrounding rock. This method considers the surrounding rock as a multi-output system during excavation, and the surveyed rock deformations of each monitoring section as its output.

The unsteady heat transfer test of the surrounding rock

2011 International Conference on Consumer Electronics, Communications and Networks (CECNet), 2011
The heat transfer between airway and airflow is an unsteady problem. Three experimental schemes (1, Variable wind temperature, the temperature of air flow are 15°C, 20°C, 25°C, 30°C; 2, Variable speed, wind speed are 1m/s, 2m/s, 3m/s; 3, Periodic wind temperature, 15°C∼25°C and 20°C∼30°C) are used to simulate the actual heat transfer process between ...

Elastoplastic Analysis of Surrounding Rocks of the Pressure Tunnel

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
According to the triple shear unified yield criterion, the mechanical behavior of the pressure tunnel was put forward. The calculation formulas of the radius of plastic zone were deduced with considerations of the effects of the intermediate principal stress.

The Study on Tunnel Surrounding Rock Displacement Prediction

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
The traditional regression analysis method cant effectively predict the final deformation of divisional excavation. This paper is going to propose prediction technique of piecewise nonlinear fitting according to deformation law of surrounding rock displacement during divisional tunneling, to construct piecewise nonlinear fitting function.

Application of Catastrophe Theory in Surrounding Rock Stability

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
Surrounding rock system of underground engineering is highly nonlinear, and there is no unified cognition for its stability criteria. Introduces the basic principle of catastrophe theory, focusing on the cusp catastrophic model, build a simplified mechanical model for the surrounding rock, and the instability of surrounding rock of the cusp ...
