International Journal of Pressure Vessels and Piping, 2000
Yield strength, tensile strength and uniform elongation of unirradiated and irradiated reactor pressure vessel steels were determined by the modified miniature specimen test (MMST). The facility and conditions for irradiating the miniature specimens are described. The results were compared with conventional tensile test data.

Enterovirus detection in stool specimen: relevance for poliovirus and enterovirus surveillance.
Archives de l'Institut Pasteur de Tunis, 2009Detection of enterovirus genome by PCR in clinical samples is now extensively used for the diagnostic of enterovirus infections given its rapidity and high sensitivity. In contrast, its use in surveillance programs targeting specific enterovirus serotypes remains less frequent.

Structural Integrity Lessons Learned in WWER RPV Surveillance Specimen Programs
2018Surveillance specimen programs in reactor pressure vessels (RPVs) are an important part of monitoring material property changes during reactor operations. Results of testing such specimens in surveillance programs, if properly designed and operated, should be the basis for assessing RPV integrity and lifetime.

We examined specimens for L. monocytogenes using the "cold enrichment" technique of Gray et al. (J. Bacteriol., 55: 471, 1948) and a nalidixic agar plate (Ann. Inst. Pasteur 111: 90, 1966). Between 1974 and May 1981, we isolated L. monocytogenes from four of 5,255 specimens (rectal, vaginal and placental swabs; blood; spinal fluid; semen; necropsy ...
