We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Architecture sustainability and energy efficiency
High technology in the field of renewable energy has dominated various aspects of life in this era, especially architecture, by exploiting its potential to produce clean energy. It is a photovoltaic (PV) material that is used to replace traditional building materials in some parts of external buildings, such as the roof, skylights, or facades.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Measuring Architecture Sustainability [PDF]
It's difficult to express a software architecture's sustainability in a single metric: relevant information is spread across requirements, architecture design documents, technology choices, source code, system context, and software architects' implicit knowledge.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
