Effective Operator Treatment of the Anharmonic Oscillator

open access: yes, 2002
We analyse the one dimensional quartic oscillator using the effective operator methodology of Lee and Suzuki. We reproduce known results for low lying energy eigenvalues.Comment: 9 Pages, Extended version with new references. To appear in Phys.ReV.

Suzuki functor at the critical level

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper we define and study a critical-level generalization of the Suzuki functor, relating the affine general linear Lie algebra to the rational Cherednik algebra of type A.

Zwitterionic Self‐Assembled Monolayer for Simultaneous Noise Suppression and Hole Extraction in High‐Performance Near‐Infrared Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high

Safety profile of India’s influenza vaccine in a large-scale corporate vaccination drive

open access: yesHuman Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics
Seasonal influenza causes substantial morbidity, mortality, and productivity losses worldwide, and although annual vaccination is recommended for adults, coverage in India remains low; corporate vaccination drives may improve access and uptake among ...

Some fixed-point theorems for a pair of Reich-Suzuki-type nonexpansive mappings in hyperbolic spaces

open access: yesTopological Algebra and its Applications, 2023
In this article, we prove some fixed-point results for a pair of Reich-Suzuki-type nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex WW-hyperbolic spaces. We introduce a new iterative scheme and establish its convergence to the fixed points of a pair of Reich ...

Harnessing the Orientation of Columnar Discotic Liquid Crystals for Narrowband Blue Emission with Enhanced Out‐Coupling Efficiency Toward Improvement of SP‐OLEDs Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solution‐processed OLEDs containing discotic liquid‐crystalline MR‐TADF emitters are reported. Supramolecular self‐assembly induces homeotropic columnar alignment, enforcing preferential horizontal orientation of the emitter transition dipole moment in spin‐coated films, which leads to an enhancement in the device light outcoupling efficiency while ...

Continuous saltiness enhancement in NaCl solutions and its potential impact on food products via anodal transcutaneous electrical stimulation

open access: yesApplied Food Research
Electric taste technology, which permits the adjustment of food flavors, has recently garnered attention as a method to reduce excessive salt intake. Electrical tongue stimulation, which modifies taste through electric cutlery, is user-friendly but only ...

Fixed-Point Theorems for ℒγ Contractions in Branciari Distance Spaces

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
In this paper, the concepts of Suzuki-type ℒγ contractions and Suzuki–Berinde-type ℒγ contractions are introduced, and new fixed-point theorems for these two contractions are established.

The few-body problem in terms of correlated gaussians

open access: yes, 2007
In their textbook, Suzuki and Varga [Y. Suzuki and K. Varga, {\em Stochastic Variational Approach to Quantum-Mechanical Few-Body Problems} (Springer, Berlin, 1998)] present the stochastic variational method in a very exhaustive way.

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.
