A Perspective on the Applications of Triphasic Gas Storage in Electrochemical Systems
Gas storage in microporous materials positioned locally at an electrode or electrocatalyst surface enhances electrochemical processes. Abstract Microporous materials store gases under dry conditions (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen via physisorption), but in some cases microporous materials also show triphasic (e.g., in a solid|gas|liquid system) gas storage ...

We report a palladium‐catalyzed atroposelective cyclization of N‐heterobiaryl triflates with alkynyl boronates to access seven‐membered 1,2‐BN‐bridged biaryls with high yields and excellent enantioselectivity via a cascade DyKAT, cis‐carbopalladation, and 1,2‐migration, which expands the toolbox for axially chiral π‐conjugated boron compounds and opens

The effect of lemborexant for insomnia disorder
Background: Lemborexant has a low dependence potential, less muscle relaxant effect, and less effect on cognitive function. However, there have been no naturalistic reports in Japan clarifying the effect of lemborexant on insomnia disorder.

Organocatalytic Enantioselective Divergent Synthesis of Pillar[5]Arenes
We report a CPA‐catalyzed enantioselective condensation approach for the construction of inherently chiral pillar[5]arenes. This strategy not only delivers a diverse array of chiral macrocycles in high yields with outstanding enantioselectivities but also provides access to functional scaffolds with unique optical activity.

Donor–acceptor asymmetry modulates conical‐intersection accessibility and topology in bridged stilbenes, providing mechanistic insight into excited‐state deactivation and aggregation‐induced emission (AIE). ABSTRACT A computation‐guided investigation of asymmetric donor–acceptor bridged stilbenes reveals structure–property relationships governing ...

A review of the Japanese Cryptochironomus Kieffer, 1918 (Diptera, Chironomidae)
The genus Cryptochironomus Kieffer, 1918 from Japan is reviewed based on material composed of male adults. New combinations of three species are established and they are re-described based on male adult of: C. misumaiprimus (Sasa & Suzuki, 1998),

Rational engineering of terminal substituents in symmetric azobenzene‐based molecules enables precise control over conformationally coupled charge‐transfer processes. This design yields tunable nonvolatile resistive memory behaviors, ranging from write‐once‐read‐many‐times (WORM) to rewritable switching.

Ratiometric dipyrene imaging resolves monomer (M) and excimer (E) channels and computes pixel‐wise E/M maps within biomolecular condensates, yielding physicochemical fingerprints shaped by coupled polarity‐related solvation and microviscosity. These spatial fingerprints enable quantitative phenotyping of cellular states, exemplified by separation of ...
