Abstract Hegel identifies thought with the ‘in itself’ of things. It is common to read the statement as an unrestricted claim regarding Hegel's metaphysical view of reality. I argue it should be read as the expression of what speculative truth achieves.

Weather‐Induced Positive Sentiment and Insider Trading
ABSTRACT Exploiting variations in sunshine exposure near insiders' locations, we find that weather‐induced positive sentiment leads to higher insider purchases, albeit with lower performance. Dual‐Class Firms and Voluntary Disclosure of Earnings Guidance
ABSTRACT This paper shows that dual‐class firms issue more quarterly management earnings guidance, particularly when the guidance contains negative news. This effect is driven by the fact that insiders in dual‐class firms maintain sufficient control to be isolated from market pressure and disciplinary outcomes following disclosure.
