Theoretical research of SWCN with chitosan dimer using vibrational spectroscopy

Saratov Fall Meeting 2019: Laser Physics, Photonic Technologies, and Molecular Modeling, 2020
The structural parameters and vibrational IR and Raman spectra of the molecular unit of the chitosan polymer, chitosan dimer, and chitosan dimer in complex with SWCN fragment were calculated.

Comparison of two models of SWCN polymer composites

Composites Science and Technology, 2004
Two approaches for predicting elastic properties of SWCN/polymer composites, equivalent-continuum modeling and the self-similar approach, are presented and compared in terms of assumptions and ranges of validity. Both models incorporate information about molecular interactions at the nanometer length scale into a continuum-mechanics based model.

SWCN characterization by neutron diffraction

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2004
Single-wall carbon nanotube structure has been investigated by neutron diffraction using the SANDALS time of flight diffractometer (at R.A.L.). The Q range of the detector allows for the determination of single the tube diameter, diameter distribution, and mean number of tubes in the bundle. Results are compared to theoretical predictions.

Quantitative structural relationship and theoretical study of electrochemical properties of C60@[SWCN(5,5)-Armchair-CnH20] complexes

Chemical Physics Letters, 2009
Abstract Nanoscale structures of carbon display an attractive variation of structural characteristics, and many useful forms have been synthesized and identified. One of these structures is the carbon nanotubes. Carbon nanotubes are either single-wall (SWCNT) or multi-wall; the former attract more attention due to their unique electronic, optical and
