Endocrine concomitants of sweating and sweat depression

European Journal of Applied Physiology and Occupational Physiology, 1984
The effect of humid heat (Ta = 43 degrees C, Pa = 32 Torr) on sweat rate, plasma renin activity and plasma levels of aldosterone and antidiuretic hormone (ADH) was studied in four male subjects before and after repeated heat exposures. Over-sweating and sweat drippage followed by hidromeiosis were observed in three subjects during initial heat exposure.
