S1 guideline sweat gland carcinoma
JDDG: Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft, EarlyView.Summary The current classification of sweat gland carcinomas is based on histomorphological characteristics and distinguishes between more than 20 entities. Most patients are older, but some subtypes also affect middle‐aged and younger patients. The majority of tumors arise de novo. Sweat gland carcinomas have nonspecific clinical features.

This review focuses on the less well understood mechanisms of extracellular protein quality control and how they become disrupted in ageing, particularly in neurodegenerative diseases.

Merkel cell carcinoma: an updated guide for pathologists
Histopathology, EarlyView.Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is an aggressive cutaneous neuroendocrine carcinoma for which the differential diagnosis can include other small cell malignancies (especially metastatic small cell carcinoma) or cutaneous carcinoma. Morphologic and immunophenotypic aberrancies in MCC can increase diagnostic challenge.

Histopathology, EarlyView.The present review aims to provide an overview of the main emerging skin epithelial tumours, with particular emphasis on salivary gland analogue sweat gland tumours and poorly differentiated carcinomas. Epidermal and adnexal tumours of the skin constitute a complex and heterogeneous group of neoplasms, with distinct morphology and behaviour.

International Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.A novel airbrush‐based in vitro sebum secretion model enables predictive assessment of foundation colour shift. Artificial sebum was applied at a physiologically relevant amount and 3 h post‐foundation application. Our results showed strong alignment with consumer perception and revealed the dominance of drying‐phase dynamics in foundation colour shift.
