Formation of metal silicide by swift heavy ion induced mixing at Mn/Si interface
Swift heavy ion (SHI) beam mixing at metal/Si system forms various silicides at the interface. In the present study SHI induced mixing has been investigated at Si/Mn/Si interfaces using 120 MeVAu+9 ions at three different fluences of 1 × 1013, 5 × 1013 ...

SHI induced nano track polymer filters and characterization [PDF]
Swift heavy ion irradiation produces damage in polymers in the form of latent tracks. Latent tracks can be enlarged by etching it in a suitable etchant and thus nuclear track etch membrane can be formed for gas permeation / purification in particular for

Mechanisms of Alkali Ionic Transport in Amorphous Oxyhalides Solid State Conductors
Large‐scale machine learning‐based molecular dynamics simulations are used to investigate isovalent amorphous oxyhalides, revealing a remarkable chemically independent ionic conductivity. A rigorous analysis of alkali residence times across different metal–anion environments identifies divalent anions as key diffusion bottlenecks.
