Adenosine Monophosphate Improves Lipolysis in Obese Mice by Reducing DNA Methylation via ADORA2A Activation by Ecto‐5′‐Nucleotidase (CD73)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 14, April 10, 2025.
In this study, the improvement effect of AMP on obesity can be attributed to the conversion of extracellular AMP to ADO through ADORA2A activation by CD73, which can promote lipolysis by reducing DNA methylation level and enhancing HSL gene transcription. These findings show the great potential of AMP in improving obesity.

Establishment of a swine model of delayed bleeding after endoscopic procedure

open access: yesDEN Open, Volume 5, Issue 1, April 2025.
Abstract Objectives Although delayed bleeding after endoscopic procedures has become a problem, currently, there are no appropriate animal models to validate methods for preventing it. This study aimed to establish an animal model of delayed bleeding after endoscopic procedures of the gastrointestinal tract. Methods Activated coagulation time (ACT) was

Transendocardial injection of expanded autologous CD34+ cells after myocardial infarction: Design of the EXCELLENT trial

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1455-1463, April 2025.
Abstract Aims The extent of irreversible cardiomyocyte necrosis after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a major determinant of residual left ventricular (LV) function and clinical outcome. Cell therapy based on CD34+ cells has emerged as an option to help repair the myocardium and to improve outcomes.
