Testable switched-capacitor filters
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1992A design-for-testability (DFT) methodology for switched-capacitor (SC) filters is presented, based on an architecture using some additional circuitry and providing extra capabilities for both off- and online test. A programmable biquad is used for on-chip comparison of the transfer functions for every filter stage.

The filters we have studied in the two previous chapters are primarily based on the assumption that they are to be implemented in discrete or hybrid forms - thick-film or thin-film. In Chapter 4 we discussed the overall decisions that must be made in designing a practical VLSI neural network. Technology, area, power, speed, memory, I/O, packaging, noise and testability all need to be considered. Two of the implementations presented there (Section 4.2.3, Section 4.2.7 and Section 4.2.8) are analysed in this case study.
