A Switched Capacitor Memristive Emulator
In this brief, we propose a mixed-signal circuit, emulating memristive behaviour. In specific, the design and implementation of a novel, low cost Switched Capacitor Memristor Emulator (SCME), is presented and studied. The proposed emulator utilizes the well-known switched capacitor technique for controlling its resistivity, thus creating its ...

Switched-Capacitor Quasi-Switched Boost Inverters
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2018In this paper, two switched-capacitor quasi-switched boost inverters (qSBIs) are proposed. By adding one capacitor and one diode to the qSBIs, the proposed inverters achieve high voltage gain with low voltage stress on active switches, capacitors, and diodes. The proposed inverters can extend to n -cell for voltage gain improvement.

Testable switched-capacitor filters
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1992A design-for-testability (DFT) methodology for switched-capacitor (SC) filters is presented, based on an architecture using some additional circuitry and providing extra capabilities for both off- and online test. A programmable biquad is used for on-chip comparison of the transfer functions for every filter stage.

The switching of capacitors differs from other switching by causing relatively large surge currents and possibly overvoltages. The performance of circuit breakers in this service has been found by recent experiments to depend on the power supply system as well as on the size of the capacitor banks.

Switched capacitor boost inverter
2016 IEEE 25th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), 2016The differential boost inverter (DBI) generates an alternating differential voltage from two dc-dc converters. The instantaneous output voltage can be higher or lower than the dc input voltage, however DBIs exhibit nonlinear control-to-output behavior in large-signal sense.

Class 2 ceramic capacitors, such as X7R, have relatively high energy density compared to Class 1 ceramic capacitors. However, they experience changes due to aging, temperature, and electric field. The measured X7R capacitance drop is 1%–2% per decade hour due to aging, 18% due to a temperature change from 25 °C to 125 °C, and 75% due to an applied ...
