Switched Capacitor Voltage Converter [PDF]
This project supports IoT development by reducing the power con- sumption and physical footprint of voltage converters. Our switched- capacitor IC design steps down an input of 1:0 - 1:4 V to 0:6 V for a decade of load current from 5 ...

A low-power receiver with switched-capacitor summation DFE [PDF]
A low power receiver with a one tap DFE was fabricated in 90mm CMOS technology. The speculative equalization is performed using switched-capacitor-based addition directly at the front-end sample-hold circuit.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Variable Speed Drive DC-Bus Voltage Dip Proofing
This paper proposes a power electronic module that uses a switched capacitor for retaining the integrity of the dc-link voltage of a variable speed drive (VSD) during a 0.2 s short-term power interruption (STPI).

Reducing MOSFET 1/f Noise and Power Consumption by "Switched Biasing" [PDF]
Switched biasing is proposed as a technique for reducing the 1/f noise in MOSFET's. Conventional techniques, such as chopping or correlated double sampling, reduce the effect of 1/f noise in electronic circuits, whereas the switched biasing technique ...

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema
ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.
