Transversal narrowband switched-capacitor filters

Proceedings of 1997 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems. Circuits and Systems in the Information Age ISCAS '97, 2002
This paper considers the implementation of non-recursive switched-capacitor filters realized in transversal form for narrowband signal processing applications. Effects of random capacitance errors and finite gain and bandwidth of the operational amplifiers in the filter frequency response are investigated.

Bilinear switched-capacitor ladder filters

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1981
Design techniques are described for parasitic-insensitive switched-capacitor ladder filters, whose response is related to that of continuous-time filters by the bilinear s-to-z transformation. A modification of the process, which reduces the necessary number of amplifiers but complicates the switching sequence, is also discussed.

Switched-capacitor filter designs

2014
The content of the tutorial is mainly oriented to the understanding of the discrete time signal processing from the hardware point of view. The tutorial includes basic principles as well as practical recommendations for microelectronics circuits and high order filters design based on switched capacitor (SC) technique.

A switched capacitor biquad filter

Microelectronics Journal, 1988
This paper reports the realization of a switched capacitor biquad filter using discrete components. This filter is one type of biquad which gives lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch outputs. This circuit was fabricated using CMOS switches and μA741 operational amplifiers. The experimental results and computer simulation using the SWITCAP program were

Allpass biquadratic switched-capacitor filters

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1985
Biquadratic allpass filters are of great importance for performing phase equalization in highly selective filters such as those employed in modems or other telecommunications equipment. This paper develops and examines topologies for implementing the switched-capacitor (SC) allpass biquad including all of the sampled data effects in the design ...

A programmable switched-capacitor filter

Proceedings of IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems - ISCAS '94, 2002
A switched-capacitor filter with independent programmable gain at either low frequency, passband frequency and high frequency band is presented. The gain at each of these frequency bands is controlled by a capacitor bank. This universal second order switched-capacitor filter employs 3 operational amplifiers, 3 capacitor banks and some additional ...

Design of Switched-Capacitor Filters

2019
In the early years of the emerging new discipline of switched-capacitor (SC) filters, a large number of design methods for SC filters were suggested. These methods can be divided into the following four groups: (i) derivation from active-RC filters, (ii) derivation from passive LC filters, (iii) derivation from digital filters, and (iv) direct ...

The switched capacitor active filters

2006
This circuit can produce both reactive power and harmonic current. From the general circuit, a number of practical circuits can be derived. The double-switch double-capacitor circuit is employed in this chapter for reactive power generation. The reactive power is smoothly varied over a range from 60 to 100 per cent of its value for the chosen values ...
