Research on the SSIDM Modeling Mechanism for Equivalent Driver’s Behavior
To solve the problem of smooth switching between the car-following model and lane-changing model, the Intelligent Driver Model (IDM) for a single lane was used to study the driver’s behavior switching mechanism of normally following, generating ...

Choosing to switch: Spontaneous task switching despite associated behavioral costs
The literature shows that switching among simple cognitive tasks is difficult and involves a performance cost. Accordingly, cost-benefit considerations seem to predict that task switching would not occur spontaneously. Here we show that spontaneous task switching is a robust phenomenon, despite its costs.

Current-Driven Magnetic Excitations in Permalloy-Based Multilayer Nanopillars [PDF]
We study current-driven magnetization switching in nanofabricated Ni84Fe16/Cu/Ni84Fe16 trilayers at 295 K and 4.2 K. The shape of the hysteretic switching diagram at low magnetic field changes from 295 K to 4.2 K.

Ballistic (precessional) contribution to the conventional magnetic switching
We consider a magnetic moment with an easy axis anisotropy energy, switched by an external field applied along this axis. Additional small, time-independent bias field is applied perpendicular to the axis.

Possible performance improvement in [2]catenane molecular electronic switches [PDF]
Mechanically interlocked bistable supramolecular complexes are promising candidates of molecular electronics. Applying a multiscale computational approach, here we study the coherent charge transport properties of catenane monolayers sandwiched between ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Scaling properties of noise-induced switching in a bistable tunnel diode circuit
Noise-induced switching between coexisting metastable states occurs in a wide range of far-from-equilibrium systems including micro-mechanical oscillators, epidemiological and climate change models, and nonlinear electronic transport in tunneling ...
