Switched snubber for high frequency switching
21st Annual IEEE Conference on Power Electronics Specialists, 2002A novel snubber circuit for high-frequency PWM (pulse width modulations) DC-to-DC and DC-to-AC converters is presented. The snubber is a series circuit of a capacitor and a snubber switch which is connected across the main switch. The main switch and the snubber switch are switched alternately with a short dead time.

High-frequency switching in Dictyostelium
Developmental Biology, 1988A high-frequency switching system is demonstrated to exist in Dictyostelium discoideum. Switch phenotypes are distinguished by colony morphology and include changes in developmental timing as well as blocks in morphogenesis. The switching system exhibits the following characteristics: (1) a "low" spontaneous frequency of switching (approximately 10(-2]

Markov-switching mixed-frequency VAR models
International Journal of Forecasting, 2015Abstract This paper introduces regime switching parameters to the Mixed-Frequency VAR model. We begin by discussing estimation and inference for Markov-switching Mixed-Frequency VAR (MSMF-VAR) models. Next, we assess the finite sample performance of the technique in Monte-Carlo experiments.

All-optical frequency-controlled frequency switch
Journal of the Optical Society of America B, 2010Orthogonally polarized optical feedback has been proven to act on the frequency of semiconductor lasers. The coupling of this feedback to a nonlinear filter results in bistability for the frequency of the laser output [Phys. Rev. Lett.94, 173902 (2005)].

Switched snubber for high‐frequency switching converters
Electronics and Communications in Japan (Part I: Communications), 1993AbstractThis paper proposes a switched snubber circuit for the switching converter. The switched snubber is made of a series connection of a switch and a capacitor. The switched snubber can suppress the surge over a wide range of duty ratio and is basically lossless. The switched snubber features zero‐voltage switching.

World Pumps, 2017
During oil transportation by pipeline, changes in the combination of pumps are often required. Recently, the focus has been on minimizing energy consumption costs. This paper looks at some indirect methods to control the frequency of pump switches.

Frequency-switched heterodyne cavity ringdown spectroscopy
Optics Letters, 2000When the frequency of light coupled into a cavity is suddenly shifted, the radiation emanating from the input port of the previously excited cavity can beat with the reflection of the frequency-shifted input on the surface of a photodetector. When the beat frequency is stable, the time decay of the resulting optical heterodyne signal can be used to ...

Frequency hysteresis phenomena in the frequency switched Chua's circuit
ISCAS 2001. The 2001 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.01CH37196), 2002In this paper we introduce the so called frequency switched Chua's circuit, based on the introduction of a switch device into the Chua's circuit. The dynamics of this system has been investigated both numerically and experimentally with respect to the frequency of the switch enabling signal.

FREQUENCY SWITCHED CHUA'S CIRCUIT: EXPERIMENTAL DYNAMICS CHARACTERIZATION
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2001In this letter the so-called frequency switched Chua's circuit is presented. Its realization is based on the introduction of a switch device into the Chua's circuit, realized by using three State-Controlled CNN cells. The dynamics of this system has been investigated both numerically and experimentally with respect to the frequency of the switch ...
