A zero switching loss matrix converter
Proceedings of IEEE Power Electronics Specialist Conference - PESC '93, 2002A low loss bidirectional switch set is proposed for a matrix power converter. The proposed switch is able to turn on at zero current and turn off at zero voltage to achieve almost zero loss and soft switching. Hence, a simple hysteretic current control can now be applied directly to a matrix power converter without adding any additional snubber circuit

Low loss soft switching boost converter
2008 13th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference, 2008A new soft switching boost converter is proposed in this paper. The conventional boost converter generates switching losses at turn on and off. Because of those, the whole system efficiency is reduced. The proposed converter utilizes soft switching method using an auxiliary switch and resonant circuit.

Low-loss self-switching bandstop filter
2016 46th European Microwave Conference (EuMC), 2016A new switchable low-loss bandstop filter is presented based on an indirect switching method combined with all-pass coupled lines. The proposed design allows switching between an all-pass mode and a bandstop filter mode for On/Off operation of a bandstop response.
