A variation on the tableau switching and a Pak-Vallejo's conjecture [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2008
Pak and Vallejo have defined fundamental symmetry map as any Young tableau bijection for the commutativity of the Littlewood-Richardson coefficients $c_{\mu,\nu}^{\lambda}=c_{\nu, \mu}^{\lambda}$.

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Impacts of Voltage Control Methods on Distribution Circuit’s Photovoltaic (PV) Integration Limits

open access: yesInventions, 2017
The widespread integration of photovoltaic (PV) units may result in a number of operational issues for the utility distribution system. The advances in smart-grid technologies with better communication and control capabilities may help to mitigate these ...

Active electrochemical high-contrast gratings as on/off switchable and color tunable pixels

open access: yesNature Communications, 2022
Two key display operations, color tuning and on/off switching, are achieved with reflective structural colors by changing the modal interference conditions and absorption via electrochemical control of Cu occupancy inside dielectric grating slits.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

Variable Rate Seeding and Accuracy of Within-Field Hybrid Switching in Maize (Zea mays L.)

open access: yesAgronomy
Precision agriculture techniques, such as variable rate seeding (VRS) and hybrid switching, play an important role in optimizing crop yield and reducing input costs.

4‐bit Multilevel Operation in Overshoot Suppressed Al2O3/TiOx Resistive Random‐Access Memory Crossbar Array

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, 2022
To apply resistive random‐access memory (RRAM) to the neuromorphic system and improve performance, each cell in the array should be able to operate independently by reducing device variation. In addition, it is necessary to lower the operating current of

Multivariate regime–switching GARCH with an application to international stock markets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We develop a multivariate generalization of the Markov–switching GARCH model introduced by Haas, Mittnik, and Paolella (2004b) and derive its fourth–moment structure.

Asset allocation of Australian superannuation funds: a markov regime switching approach

open access: yes, 2023
We extend an observable Markov Regime Switching framework to assess the switching behaviour of asset classes of Australian superannuation funds across different fund sizes.

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.
