A Small Power Switching Mode Power Supply Based on TOP Switch

2009 International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2009
In designing low power switching mode power supply (SMPS), its functions, tech-parameter and cost should be considered at the same time. TOP Switch has stronger functions than the discrete components. It is easy and flexible to design SMPS based on TOP Switch and the products always get less cost. SMPS based on UC3842 or UC3843 is compared with the one

A self-powered supply circuit for switching mode power supply

2017 IEEE 12th International Conference on ASIC (ASICON), 2017
The paper presents a self-powered supply circuit for high-voltage switching mode power supply (SMPS), such as buck or flyback. It can make whole SMPS converters more efficient. The proposed supply circuit is realized by the energy recycling of power MOSFET switching procedure. Firstly, dV/dt at the drain terminal of power MOSFET is detected.

"A Switch Mode Power Supply"

INTELEC '82 - International Telecommunications Energy Conference, 1982
A companion paper (New and Wittey) describes a new Power Equipment Rack concept. The present paper describes the design of a SMPS for the new rack. The SMPS operates on 240V 50Hz s.p. A.C., producing a nominal 28A D.C. at a preset level between 52 and 58V D.C.

Switching power supplies

2015
Power supplies for modern electronic systems should be small, lightweight, reliable, and efficient. Linear power regulators, whose principle of operation is based on a voltage or current divider, are inefficient. They are limited to output voltages smaller than the input voltage.

Switch-Mode Power Supplies

1993
DC power supplies - either regulated or not - are needed in industrial equipment, in order to supply systems or part of systems with a suitable DC voltage. In the majority of cases, these supplies are fed from the single-phase industrial network.

Power Transformers for Switched Mode Power Supplies

IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 1985
The magnetic circuit of power transformers for switched mode power supplies is analyzed, and formulas are derived. A counter-biasing permanent magnet may be included in the magnetic circuit to increase the range of utilization of the magnetic saturated flux density Bs of the ferrite cores.

Research on Switching Power Supply Based on Soft Switching Technology

2020
Aiming at the problem that it is difficult to realize zero voltage and zero current switching (ZVZCS) in the current switching power supply, the resonance energy of the lagging arm is insufficient. In this paper, with TMS320F2812 as the control core, the DC/DC part of the switching power supply is designed by using the PWM phase shift control full ...

Switched-Mode Power Supply for Control System

2019 6th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT), 2019
Switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) are confidently replacing outdated linear power supplies. They are distinguished by high performance, improved stabilization indicators and compactness. The SMPS are widely used in power supply of control systems for small energy facilities. The article is devoted to the research of forward converter parameters.
