ABSTRACT Amplification‐free Cas12a diagnostics with split crRNA enable rapid and programmable target recognition, yet insufficient understanding of DNA activator architecture prevents predictable control over trans‐cleavage activity and sensitivity. Here we systematically map over 200 split DNA activator configurations by introducing nicks at every ...

Auditory arousal thresholds after selective slow-wave sleep (SWS) deprivation
Objectives: The aim of this study is to assess Auditory Arousal Thresholds (AATs) three times during an undisturbed baseline night and to compare them to AATs during the recovery night that follows two consecutive nights of selective SWS deprivation. The

Paired rats increased time spent in post-conditioning SWS.
(A) Following odor aversion conditioning, paired animals spent more time in SWS recorded in the piriform cortex than on baseline days (mean SWS duration ± SEM). This increase was seen only in odor/shock Paired animals. Immediately following conditioning (

Unveiling the Taxonomic Diversity and Unprecedented Biosynthetic Treasure of the Phylum Myxococcota
Natural products remain vital sources of therapeutics, and the phylum Myxococcota constitutes an especially rich reservoir for them. Based on decades of microbiological efforts, we present 154 new Myxococcota genomes and revise taxonomy quadrupling the number of families and genera.

The promoted Escherichia coli‐assisted continuous evolution (PEACE) system operates through a stringent three step genetic circuit: target gene mutation via a deaminase–T7 RNA polymerase (T7 RNAP) fusion, coupling variant function to antitoxin expression, and growth based selection of surviving cells.

Giant Magnetic Purcell Effect Induced by High‐Order Mie Resonances
High‐order Mie resonances in dielectric spheres selectively amplify magnetic dipole emission from Eu3+ emitters, producing a giant magnetic Purcell effect. Localized emitters can efficiently access high‐order resonant modes, and the low‐loss TiO2 platform enables direct far‐field observation of the enhanced emission.
