Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Civic and Symbolic Space in Representation and Ritual in the Renaissance

open access: yes, 1999
PhDThis project examines the conception and imaging of the city in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. The thesis aims to chart the ways in which a spatialised reading of the metropolis most fully realised in ceremonial representations

Mechanism‐Informed Machine Learning Enables Discovery of Oncolytic Peptides for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MISPOP integrates ensemble learning with membrane‐active physicochemical priors to identify Dermaseptin‐S9, a natural oncolytic peptide that disrupts tumor membranes, triggers immunogenic cell death, and shows strong antitumor activity. The study illustrates a mechanism‐informed route from peptide sequence data to cancer immunotherapy leads.

Inhibitory Decay and Supercritical Brain Dynamics During Sleep Deprivation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sleep deprivation progressively shifts human brain dynamics from near‐critical toward supercritical states, as revealed by neuronal avalanche analysis of resting‐state fMRI. These changes track subjective sleep pressure rather than vigilance lapses and show marked network heterogeneity. A circuit model suggests that reduced inhibitory efficacy provides

Symbolic spaces of everyday life : work and leisure at home

open access: yes, 2006
This article presents an analysis of the role of the media in the symbolic construction of work and leisure at home. Dealing with individuals who represent a post-industrial and cultural labour market and who work mainly at home, the analysis focuses ...

From Label‐Free Multiphoton Imaging to Pathological Reports: A Vision‐Language Breast Cancer Margin Pathological Diagnosis System

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MarginPath is a novel vision‐language system that automates breast cancer margin assessment using a single label‐free multiphoton microscopy image. By integrating tumor‐associated collagen signatures with virtual H&E imaging, it generates accurate margin heatmaps and comprehensive diagnostic reports.

AI‐Designed Cyclic Peptides Enable Controllable Modulation of the CD28 Immune Checkpoint

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AI‐designed cyclic peptides enable controllable modulation of the CD28 immune checkpoint through reversible disruption of CD28‐CD80/CD86 interactions. The lead peptide, CIP‐3, suppresses T‐cell activation without intrinsic agonist activity, demonstrates dose‐dependent efficacy in a murine colitis model, and attenuates inflammatory cytokine production ...
