Symmetric duality for a class of multiobjective programming

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
We formulate a pair of symmetric dual nondifferentiable multiobjective programming and establish appropriate duality theorems. We also show that differentiable and nondifferentiable analogues of several pairs of symmetric dual problems can be obtained as

Linear Koszul Duality II - Coherent sheaves on perfect sheaves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we continue the study (initiated in a previous article) of linear Koszul duality, a geometric version of the standard duality between modules over symmetric and exterior algebras.

Duality for a class of second order symmetric nondifferentiable fractional variational problems [PDF]

open access: yesYugoslav Journal of Operations Research, 2020
The present work frames a pair of symmetric dual problems for second order nondifferentiable fractional variational problems over cone constraints with the help of support functions.

Manifestly T-Duality Symmetric Matrix Models [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
We present a new class of matrix models which are manifestly symmetric under the T-duality transformation of the target space. The models may serve as a nonperturbative regularization for the T-duality symmetry in continuum string theory.

Twisted Supergravity and Koszul Duality: A Case Study in AdS₃ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
In this note, we study a simplified variant of the familiar holographic duality between supergravity on AdS₃ × S³ × T⁴ and the SCFT (on the moduli space of) the symmetric orbifold theory Sym^N(T⁴) as N→∞.

Symmetric Duality for Structured Convex Programs [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1978
A fully symmetric duality model is presented which subsumes the classical treatments given by Duffin (1956), Eisenberg (1961) and Cottle (1963) for linear, homogeneous and quadratic convex programming. Moreover, a wide variety of other special objective functional structures, including homogeneity of any nonzero degree, is handled with equal ease.

Gauging the bulk: generalized gauging maps and holographic codes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
Gauging is a general procedure for mapping a quantum many-body system with a global symmetry to one with a local gauge symmetry. We consider a generalized gauging map that does not enforce gauge symmetry at all lattice sites, and show that it is an ...

Multiobjective symmetric duality with invexity [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 1997
Usual duality results are proved for Wolfe and Mond-Weir type multiobjective symmetric dual problems without nonnegativity constraints under invexity/generalised invexity assumptions. Moreover, assuming the kernel function to be skew symmetric, the multiobjective problems are exhibited to be self duals.

Call-by-Value and Call-by-Name Dual Calculi with Inductive and Coinductive Types [PDF]

open access: yesLogical Methods in Computer Science, 2013
This paper extends the dual calculus with inductive types and coinductive types. The paper first introduces a non-deterministic dual calculus with inductive and coinductive types. Besides the same duality of the original dual calculus, it has the duality

Universality of Sypersymmetric Attractors [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
The macroscopic entropy-area formula for supersymmetric black holes in N=2,4,8 theories is found to be universal: in d=4 it is always given by the square of the largest of the central charges extremized in the moduli space.
