On Path Laplacian Eigenvalues and Path Laplacian Energy of Graphs
We introduce the concept of Path Laplacian Matrix for a graph and explore the eigenvalues of this matrix. The eigenvalues of this matrix are called the path Laplacian eigenvalues of the graph.

Carboxyl‐functionalized graphene quantum dots (cGQDs) exhibit high singlet oxygen quantum yield due to strong spin–orbit coupling. cGQDs achieve minimum bactericidal concentration of only 0.4 µg mL−1 against S. aureus under low‐intensity illumination.

Symmetric separation of variables for trigonometric integrable models
We study a problem of variable separation for the classical integrable hamiltonian systems possessing Lax matrices satisfying linear r-matrix algebra with skew-symmetric sl(2)⊗sl(2)-valued trigonometric r-matrix.

On construction of multivariate symmetric MRA-based wavelets [PDF]
For an arbitrary matrix dilation, any integer n and any integer/semi-integer c, we describe all masks that are symmetric with respect to the point c and have sum rule of order n. For each such mask, we give explicit formulas for wavelet functions that are point symmetric/antisymmetric and generate frame-like wavelet system providing approximation order

The decimation scheme for symmetric matrix factorization
Abstract Matrix factorization is an inference problem that has acquired importance due to its vast range of applications that go from dictionary learning to recommendation systems and machine learning with deep networks. The study of its fundamental statistical limits represents a true challenge, and despite a decade-long history of ...

Off‐centering of cations in pavonite‐structured Ag1.75InSb5.75Se11 (AISS) breaks crystal symmetry, inducing Rashba‐like band splitting and high band degeneracy, thus enhancing Seebeck coefficients. Soft bonds between off‐centered cations and Se atoms increase phonon scattering, achieving low lattice thermal conductivity (0.22 W m−1K−1 at 723 K). Doping

The iterative method is presented for obtaining the centrally symmetric (centrally antisymmetric) matrix pair (X,Y) solutions of the generalized coupled Sylvester-conjugate matrix equations A1X+B1Y=D1X¯E1+F1, A2Y+B2X=D2Y¯E2+F2.
