Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Bimetallic structures of Inconel 718 and CuCrZr are fabricated using the laser powder directed energy deposition method. The study reveals a strong dependence of interface characteristics such as width and interfusion on processing and heat treatment strategies.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Steel samples are investigated using complementary simulations and measurements. Transmission electron microscopy in bright‐field mode, combined with energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy maps for titanium and niobium, reveals distinct particle populations. Simulations reproduce these in size and composition.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.This study investigates the microstructural and micromechanical behavior of NiTiNb made through filament‐based materials extrusion via chemically correlated nanoindentation. B19' remnants from the original powder lead to Nb gradients within NiTiNb grains due to the short sintering times required in liquid‐phase sintering.
