Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Invariants in Non-Commutative Variables of the Symmetric and Hyperoctahedral Groups [PDF]
We consider the graded Hopf algebra $NCSym$ of symmetric functions with non-commutative variables, which is analogous to the algebra $Sym$ of the ordinary symmetric functions in commutative variables.

String Theory on AdS_3 and Symmetric Products [PDF]
We consider string theory on a background of the form AdS_3 x N. Our aim is to give a description of the dual CFT in a general set up. With the requirement that we have N=2 supersymmetry in spacetime, we provide evidence that the dual CFT is in the moduli space of a certain symmetric product M^p/S_p.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

In this paper we present equivalent characterizations of k-Kernel symmetric Matrices. Necessary and sufficient conditions are determined for a matrix to be k-Kernel Symmetric. We give some basic results of kernel symmetric matrices.

Certain Concepts of Vague Graphs With Applications to Medical Diagnosis
The purpose of this research study is to present and explore the key properties of some new operations on vague graphs, including rejection, maximal product, symmetric difference, and residue product.

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

Holographic interfaces in symmetric product orbifolds
The study of non-local operators in gauge theory and holography, such as line-operators or interfaces, has attracted significant attention. Two-dimensional symmetric product orbifolds are close cousins of higher-dimensional gauge theory. In this work, we

AdS3 string theory in the stringy regime k = (R AdS /ℓ s )2 < 1 provides a laboratory for the study of holography in which both sides of AdS/CFT duality are under fairly good control.
