Symmetry TFT for subsystem symmetry

Abstract We generalize the idea of symmetry topological field theory (SymTFT) for subsystem symmetry. We propose the 2-foliated BF theory with level N in (3 + 1)d as subsystem SymTFT for subsystem ℤ N symmetry in (2 + 1)d. Focusing on N = 2, we investigate various topological boundaries.

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.
