UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

Topological Phases Protected by Point Group Symmetry
We consider symmetry-protected topological (SPT) phases with crystalline point group symmetry, dubbed point group SPT (pgSPT) phases. We show that such phases can be understood in terms of lower-dimensional topological phases with on-site symmetry and ...

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Let d ≥ 2. In this paper we prove that Id(ℓ, a) fills Rd face–to–face by translations. We prove that the symmetry group of Id(ℓ, a) contains the product of cyclic groups Cd × C2 as a subgroup.

Symmetry, Structure and the Constitution of Objects [PDF]
In this paper I focus on the impact on structuralism of the quantum treatment of objects in terms of symmetry groups and, in particular, on the question as to how we might eliminate, or better, reconceptualise such objects in structural terms.

ABSTRACT Introduction Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare but devastating myelopathy, characterized by a high disability rate and an unfavorable prognosis. It has often been underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed as idiopathic transverse myelitis (ITM). This study aimed to describe the clinical features, radiological biomarkers, treatments, and functional ...

Targeting high symmetry in structure predictions by biasing the potential energy surface
Ground-state structures found in nature are, in many cases, of high symmetry. But structure prediction methods typically render only a small fraction of high-symmetry structures.

Spatiotemporal symmetries in the disynaptic canal-neck projection [PDF]
The vestibular system in almost all vertebrates, and in particular in humans, controls balance by employing a set of six semicircular canals, three in each inner ear, to detect angular accelerations of the head in three mutually orthogonal coordinate ...

ABSTRACT Purpose Air pollution has been linked to several neurological conditions, including stroke and neurodegenerative diseases. Evidence regarding its association with multiple sclerosis (MS) remains conflicting, limited by small sample sizes. Methods PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Cochrane controlled register of trials (CENTRAL) were searched on ...
