Metric degeneracies and gradient flows on symplectic leaves
For a Poisson manifold endowed with a pseudo-Riemannian metric, we investigate degeneracies arising when the metric is restricted to symplectic leaves. Central to this work is the generalized double bracket (GDB) vector field-a geometric construct introduced in our earlier work-which generalizes gradient dynamics to indefinite metric settings.

On symplectic leaves and integrable systems in standard complex semisimple Poisson-Lie groups
We provide an explicit description of symplectic leaves of a simply connected connected semisimple complex Lie group equipped with the standard Poisson-Lie structure. This sharpens previously known descriptions of the symplectic leaves as connected components of certain varieties. Our main tool is the machinery of twisted generalized minors.

Complex and symplectic geometry
This book arises from the INdAM Meeting "Complex and Symplectic Geometry", which was held in Cortona in June 2016. Several leading specialists, including young researchers, in the field of complex and symplectic geometry, present the state of the art of ...

Primitive Ideals and Symplectic Leaves of Quantum Matrices [PDF]
It is proved that there exists a bijection between the primitive ideals of the algebra of regular functions on quantum m × n-matrices and the symplectic leaves of associated Poisson ...

Moduli of symplectic bundles over curves [PDF]
Let Х be a complex projective smooth irreducible curve of genus g. We begin by giving background material on symplectic vector bundles and principal bundles over X and introduce the moduli spaces we will be studying, In Chapter 2 we describe the stable ...

Preservation of Adiabatic Invariants under Symplectic Discretization
Symplectic methods, like the Verlet method, are a standard tool for the long term integration of Hamiltonian systems as they arise, for example, in molecular dynamics.

The symplectic ideal and a double centraliser theorem
Let G be a reductive connected linear algebraic group over an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic and let g be its Lie algebra. First we correct and generalise a well-known result about the Picard group of G.
