PLXDC2 siRNA‐Mediated Intervention Attenuates Microglial Senescence Through cGAS‐STING Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PLXDC2 was identified as a microglial target in Parkinson's disease through human and mouse single‐cell analyses. Ferritin‐armed biomimetic nanovesicles delivered PLXDC2 siRNA, deferoxamine, and CeO2 nanoparticles across the blood–brain barrier, reducing cGAS‐STING activation, iron burden, oxidative stress, and senescence in microglia, thereby ...

SAT1‐Induced Spermidine Depletion Potentiates Food Allergy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Spermidine depletion, driven by upregulated spermidine/spermine N1‐acetyltransferase (SAT1), potentiates food allergy by promoting mast cell degranulation through autophagy suppression. SAT1 physically interacts with the long noncoding RNA Cdk19os to inhibit Atg5 and Atg7, disrupting autophagic flux.

Symptom Clusters in Cancer Patients

Supportive Care in Cancer, 2006
Cancer patients often experience multiple symptoms, many of which have been reported to correlate with each other. The goals of this study were to understand which cancer-related symptoms cluster together and to test the conceptual meanings of the revealed symptom clusters.Patients with various cancer diagnoses (N=151) were recruited from a medical ...

Stable Symptom Clusters and Evolving Symptom Networks in Relation to Chemotherapy Cycles

open access: yesJournal of Pain and Symptom Management, 2021
Context: The existence of stable symptom clusters with variations or changes in cluster membership and the merging of symptom clusters over time urge us to investigate how symptom relationships change over time.

Symptom Burden Clusters: A Challenge for Targeted Symptom Management. A Longitudinal Study Examining Symptom Burden Clusters in Breast Cancer

open access: yesJournal of Pain and Symptom Management, 2014
Context: Although there has been a growing interest in cancer symptom clusters, less is known about symptom burden clusters. Objectives: To explore clusters of burdensome symptoms over time, the impact on health status and quality of life, and coping ...
