Symptomatic hypoglycemia in newborns
The Indian Journal of Pediatrics, 1983Out of 9014 consecutive live births in Queen Mary’s Hospital, 56 neonates developed symptoms related to hypoglycemia giving an incidence of 6.2/1000 live births. A very high incidence of low birth weight (LBW) babies (23), abnormal deliveries (25) which included cesarean section, forceps and breech deliveries, was found in these cases.

Symptomatic cluttering in adults

Symptomatic Outcome in Schizophrenia
Archives of General Psychiatry, 1974A total of 132 schizophrenic patients, treated on six inpatient units and discharged to the community, were interviewed two to three years postdischarge. Virtually no patients were symptom free. Only five were healthy on neurotic and psychotic indexes. Approximately one quarter of the entire sample had considerable symptoms of psychosis.

Scoliosis in symptomatic spondylolisthesis
The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. British volume, 1980The association between spondylolisthesis and scoliosis was studied in 84 patients who presented during a 30-year period with symptomatic spondylolisthesis. The incidence of scoliosis was 42 per cent, the majority of cases being lumbar or thoracolumbar curves of less than 15 degrees.
