The complete theoretical study of thermal Curtius rearrangement of syn-syn and syn-anti conformers of oxalyl diazide, in the gas phase and in solution has been established for the first time. The inexplicit solvent effect was taken into account via the self-consistent reaction field (SCRF) method. The gas and solution phases of all optimized geometries

SYN-dog: sniffing SYN flooding sources
Proceedings 22nd International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems, 2003Presents a simple and robust mechanism called SYN-dog to sniff SYN flooding sources. We install SYN-dog as a software agent at leaf routers that connect stub networks to the Internet. The statelessness and low computation overhead of SYN-dog make itself immune to any flooding attacks.

Synthesis of a syn,syn,syn,syn-Stereopentad Precursor of the Marine Sponge Polyketide Callystatin A
The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 1999A C13−22 syn,syn,syn,syn-stereopentad precursor of the cytotoxic polyketide callystatin A has been prepared. The synthesis involved BF3-promoted addition of the (M)-allenylstannane 28 to the α-methyl-β-OTBS aldehyde 8 to afford the syn,syn adduct homopropargylic alcohol 29.

Detecting SYN flooding attacks
Proceedings.Twenty-First Annual Joint Conference of the IEEE Computer and Communications Societies, 2003We propose a simple and robust mechanism for detecting SYN flooding attacks. Instead of monitoring the ongoing traffic at the front end (like firewall or proxy) or a victim server itself, we detect the SYN flooding attacks at leaf routers that connect end hosts to the Internet. The simplicity of our detection mechanism lies in its statelessness and low
