This study utilizes the van der Waals stacking of ferroelectric α$\alpha$‐In2Se3 to fabricate in‐plane artificial charged domain walls. These charged domain walls are electrically accessible, gate‐tunable, and show 2–9 orders of magnitude higher conductance than charged domain walls from thin film ferroelectrics, allowing their integration in field ...

Low‐power ferroelectric capacitors, based on superlattice HfO2‐ZrO2 is reported. With proper tuning of ferro and antiferroelectricity, an imprint‐free high switchable polarization charge (2Pr of 76 µC/cm2) is obtained with 2MV/cm leading to linear analog weight update and non‐volatile retention, providing a design guideline for emerging non‐volatile ...

Midbrain PAG Astrocytes Modulate Mouse Defensive and Panic‐Like Behaviors
Astrocytes in the midbrain periaqueductal gray (PAG) dynamically encode threat intensity and shape defensive action selection in mice. Real‐time Ca2+ imaging reveals robust astrocytic activation during predator odor and CO2 exposure. Aberrant astrocytic Ca2+ overactivation disrupts goal‐directed escape, biases behavior toward freezing, and induces ...

On the synapsis in amphibia [PDF]
In 1903 and 1904 one of us, in conjunction with Professor Farmer, described the maiotic process in a variety of animals and plants. From the observations then accumulated it was in the first place shown that what we termed the maiotic process appears to be the same throughout the animal and vegetable kingdoms.
