Research on pre-synchronization control strategy of the micro-grid with multi-VSG

open access: yesGlobal Energy Interconnection, 2018
Seamless switching is an important guarantee for the inverter to work continuously without stopping when grid-connected power generation system is the transient process from grid-connected to isolated island and from isolated island reclosing.

Stability analysis and parameter configuration of parallel virtual synchronous generators in microgrid

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
The current small-signal stability analysis and parameter selection of converters that mimic synchronous generators usually ignore some dynamic characteristics and the changes of steady-state operating points for simplicity. It could only judge the trend

Diagnosis of Static Eccentricity in 3-Phase Synchronous Machines using a Pseudo Zero-Sequence Current

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Large synchronous generators are the heart of the modern world, while producing the vast majority of the electric power consumed globally. Although they are robust devices, they are prone to degradation and failure.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Dynamic Patterns in the Small-Signal Behavior of Power Systems with Wind Power Generation

open access: yesEnergies
This paper investigates the dynamic patterns in the small-signal behavior of power systems with wind power generation. The interactions between synchronous generators and wind generators are investigated.

Somatostatin receptor 4 (SSTR4) is a tumor suppressor in cutaneous and head & neck squamous cell carcinomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study identifies somatostatin receptor 4 (Sstr4) as a critical tumor suppressor against skin and head/neck cancers (HNSCC, cSCC, and BCC). The loss of Sstr4 removes a check on cell growth, causing hyperactivation of the MAPK‐ERK signaling pathway (↑).

Impact of active power recovery rate of DFIG wind farms on first swing rotor angle stability

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2020
The first swing rotor angle stability is still an important stability challenge for modern power systems integrated with a large number of renewable energy‐based sources, such as wind farms and solar‐photovoltaic farms.

IMPROVING THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF SHIP ELECTRIC INSTALLATIONS BY USING ASYNCHRONOUS GENERATORS

open access: yesПраці Інституту електродинаміки Національної академії наук України, 2020
The article considers one of the ways to increase the energy efficiency of marine autonomous power plants by using asynchronous generators with capacitor excitation instead of traditional generator sets with synchronous generators. A comparative analysis
