Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.

Optimal Dynamic Distributed MIS
Finding a maximal independent set (MIS) in a graph is a cornerstone task in distributed computing. The local nature of an MIS allows for fast solutions in a static distributed setting, which are logarithmic in the number of nodes or in their degrees. The

A vertically stacked, DEA‐driven photonic array inspired by cephalopod skin, featuring highly crystalline colloidal crystal gels with vivid color, low FWHM and scalability is presented. The multilayer design removes lateral pixel interference, achieving near‐100% fill factor with fully independent RGB actuation.

A chiral photodetector capable of selectively distinguishing left‐ and right‐handed circularly polarized light is experimentally demonstrated. The device, which features a nanopatterned electrode inverse‐designed by a genetic algorithm within a metal–dielectric–metal nanocavity that incorporates a vacuum‐deposited small‐molecule multilayer, exhibits ...

Time networks: history and synchronicity in contemporary Croatian cinema
The paper demonstrates the prominence of network narratives (films with several autonomous storylines, globally popular since the mid-1990s) in post-Yugoslav, particularly Croatian, cinema, with examples such as Metastases (2009), The Reaper (2014), You Carry Me (2015), The Constitution (2016), The Trampoline (2017), etc.

This study demonstrates coherent control of 15N nuclear spins coupled to VB−${\text{V}}_{\text{B}}^{-}$ centers in isotope‐enriched hexagonal boron nitride. Selective addressing via spin‐state mixing enables Rabi driving, quantum gates, and coherence times exceeding 10 μs$\umu{\rm s}$.

On the history of concessive connectives in english. Diachronic and synchronic evidence [PDF]
The paper examines the historical development of concessive connectives and concessive sentences in English. Concessivity is shown to be a derived notion and the late development of this category, both ontogenetically and phylogenetically, is shown to be reflected in the morphology of the connectives: concessive connectives derive either from ...

Finding binary active galactic nuclei by the centroid shift in imaging surveys
The census of binary active galactic nuclei (AGNs) is important in order to understand the merging history of galaxies and the triggering of AGNs. However, there is still no efficient method for selecting the candidates of binary AGNs.
